    Mr. Fontana, a New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional, has more than 30 years of professional experience. Mr. Fontana oversees technical studies and offers consulting services for soil and groundwater assessment, investigation and remediation. Mr. Fontana specializes in complex hazardous site investigation and remediation, above-ground and underground storage tank (AST/UST) investigations and remediation, litigation support, regulatory compliance and the environmental aspects of real estate transactions. In addition, Mr. Fontana directs project and case file research, prepares expert reports, and consults on a wide variety of environmental litigation matters.

    Cecilia Fontana, P.G. is a licensed Professional Geologist with over 30 years of professional experience in the environmental field. Mrs. Fontana conducts oversight of all site remediation projects, development of technical and regulatory training, providing unparalleled customer service to continue to drive the business forward. IN addition, Mrs. Fontana implements an Integrated approach to addressing federal, state, and local regulatory requirements into project-specific work plans and developscost-effective compliance strategies. During her career, she has performed activities at numerous complex hazardous waste and contaminated sites to address regulatory requirements under the New Jersey Technical Requirements for Site Remediation (NJAC 7:26E), Industrial Site Recovery Act, New Jersey Pollution Discharge Elimination System Permitting Program and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). Mrs. Fontana has extensive experience with sites contaminated with polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), chlorinated solvents and sites impacted by regulated UST discharges.

Through his professional experience, Mr. Stabile brings his knowledge of underground storage tank management and site investigation and remediation activities as translated into client specific site maps, actual and propositional soil boring and monitoring well location maps, distribution of organic and inorganic constituents of concern detected in soil and groundwater, cross sectional plans, groundwater elevation isocontours and buried utilities search maps.

    Mrs. MacCarter is a Project Scientist and Task Manager with over eight years of professional experience, including project and task management and implementation, budget preparation, resource planning and coordination, and subcontractor coordination and management. Mrs. MacCarter leads the QA/QC of VERINA’s laboratory analytical program and is responsible for the firm’s New Jersey Laboratory Certification. She also manages the firm’s Health & Safety program.

    Senior Technician

    Mr. Pyra is a Senior Technician and has over 18 years of field experience in environmental sampling, investigation, and remediation. Chris’s area of expertise includes monitoring well installation, well development, soil sampling, soil gas and indoor air sampling and groundwater sampling as part of UST, RCRA, and CERCLA investigations, in situ remediation at sites contaminated by petroleum and solvent-based products using oxygen and hydrogen-releasing compounds, emulsified soils, permanganate, and various other applications through injections.

Mr. Gardner has provided mapping and GPS support for environmental remediation sites in New York and New Jersey, including site investigations for soil and groundwater contamination for commercial, state, and federal clients. Examples of GIS products include groundwater elevation and topographic contours, sample location maps, wetland delineation maps, and historic aerial image analysis. Mr. Gardner also has a background in geology and field experience in soil and groundwater sampling.

His internship experiences focused on New Jersey land use/land cover and watersheds, with specific attention to the Raritan Basin and the Lower Raritan where he converted historic map files into a GIS-usable format for stream delineation, among other applications.
